Jeremiah

Before beginning the long and complex book of Jeremiah, it is worthwhile to understand the context of his world and the relevant prophecies that came before. This teaching starts with the first mention of Babylon carrying away the treasure and people of Judah, and ends with king Josiah who is on the throne when Jeremiah begins. By understanding Jeremiah's place in Israel's history, we will better appreciate his words.
