Aftermath of Jeremiah
Immediately following the book and events of Jeremiah is the book of Lamentations. It is a collection of 5 dirges or laments which cover the fall of Jerusalem and God's judgment against his people. Although it is sad and focusing on difficult topics, it also brings the suffering endured into a larger context.
