Remove the Immoral Man
Some of the Bible's teachings might make us uncomfortable. Today we talk about the idea of church discipline, specifically removing a member of the church. It is challenging because on the one hand we are forgiven from sin. On the other hand, sin is still destructive and the church can play a role at restoring those whose lives are ensnared by sin. The Corinthian example shows us a challenging, but ultimately uplifting example of freedom from sin.
